Detail Hanna HI 96701 Free Chlorine Photometer

Hanna HI 96701 Free Chlorine Photometer The Hanna Instruments HI 96701 is an auto-diagnostic portable photometer for accurately measuring free chlorine. Chlorine is the most ubiquitous disinfectant and is used in many treatment applications; from potable water, wastewater, to food industry and swimming pools. The HI 96701 provides the ability to monitor the exact level of chlorine to ensure proper levels are present for your application. The Hanna Instruments HI 96701 uses an advanced optical system based on a special tungsten lamp and a 525 nm narrow band interference filter that allows the most accurate and repeatable readings. This method is an adaptation of the USEPA Method 330.5 for wastewater, and Standard Method 4500-Cl G for drinking water and allows the HI96701 to accurately measure free chlorine ( cl2) from 0.00 to 5.00 mg/ L ( ppm) . The Hanna Instruments HI 96701 free chlorine photometer is factory calibrated and utilizes an electronic and optical design that minimizes the need of frequent calibration. The meter is equipped with Cal Check validation function and standards to validate good performance at any time. The validation procedure is extremely user friendly. Just use exclusive ready-made, NIST traceable standards to verify the performance of the instrument and recalibrate if necessary. The Hanna Instruments HI 96701 is splash waterproof and protected from dust or dirt. This makes the instrument suitable for field applications. Display messages aid the user in routine operation. The meter has an auto-shut off feature that will turn off the instrument after 10 minutes of non use in measurement mode or after 1 hour if left in calibration mode. The meter uses an exclusive positive-locking system to ensure that the cuvette is in the same position every time it is placed into the measurement cell. The cuvette is made from special optical glass to obtain best results.
